Diamond Heels Sweep Liberty, Win Finale 13-8

The Tar Heel offense continued its hot streak to complete the series sweep over Liberty with a 13-8 win on Sunday. The effort was propelled by a 10-run fourth inning that was too much for Liberty to overcome. UNC outscored Liberty 36-15 over the weekend. No. 13 North Carolina (7-5) returns to action Tuesday at 3 p.m. against VCU at Boshamer Stadium. (GoHeels.com)
