Garrison Brooks brings Southern flair to ACC Tournament in win over Duke

For Garrison Brooks, the soft-spoken 6-foot-8 forward with a Southern drawl, there was never better time to show up on the court than when he did. With Theo Pinson, UNC’s tournament hero to that point, sidelined with two early fouls, it was Brooks who picked up the slack and picked apart Duke’s zone with a 10-point, four-rebound performance in 16 minutes.
