Tennessee Titans release Da'Norris Searcy


The Titans continued revamping their roster and clearing salary cap space in advance of free agency, informing veteran backup quarterback Matt Cassel, safety and wide receiver Eric Weems that they were being released, the team announced Friday. Searcy, 29, was scheduled to earn $3.85 million next season, including a $750,000 roster bonus. (Nashville Tennessean)
