Wes Miller realized he had to work on himself as much as his fledgling UNCG program. He had to change his identity before he could change the Spartans. “The irony is, as I learned more about my roots coming from the Carolina family, Coach Dean Smith was the biggest changing-defenses guy ever. So I’m not really straying away from my Carolina foundation.”
