March 18, 1995 will forever be remembered as the day Michael Jordan announced his return to basketball after a nearly 18-month hiatus. His return was anticipated but not certain, coming just eight days after he announced the end of his baseball career. Jordan had won three titles and MVP awards. He had broken numerous records. His legacy was historic.
