Kelly Whaley Leads Tar Heels To Victory In Briar's Creek Invitational


UNC shot 5-under par in the final round of the Briar's Creek Invitational Tuesday to finish at 16-under-par 848 and capture the 45th tournament title in program history. Kelly Whaley finished at 12-under-par 204 to win the individual title. The Tar Heels set a Briar's Creek Invitational record for the lowest tournament total (848), the second-lowest in score in UNC history. (GoHeels.com)
