Justin Curry Chooses Baseball
Posted Jun 14, 2006
North Carolina 2007 football commitment Justin Curry notified the UNC coaching staff on Monday night that he has officially decided to pursue a baseball career, Buford (Ga.) baseball coach Tony Wolfe said. Drafted in the 33rd round of the Major League Draft by the Cincinnati Reds last week, Curry was not signed right away. Instead, he has enrolled at Young Harris Junior College (Ga.) and will play baseball there while continuing to be evaluated by the Reds.
