Though he's beginning his college career as a walk-on, North Carolina expects Mats Pokela to provide depth at punter this season. Pokela, 6-foot, 195-pounder, played prep ball at Baylor School, a boarding school in Chattanooga, Tenn. However, he and his family reside in Greensboro.
