Tar Heels Finally Can Celebrate Trip To Omaha

Mike Fox helped North Carolina's program grow in small steps, building off each trip to the NCAA tournament in hopes of eventually returning the team to the College World Series. Now, after a thrilling weekend series win against Alabama in the NCAA tournament, the Tar Heels are heading back to Omaha for the first time since 1989. The onfield celebration after Chad Flack's walk-off home run that gave them their 50th win was just another highlight in a season full of them.
