No. 1 North Carolina posted a 7-0 shutout victory over Virginia Tech in ACC women's tennis Sunday at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. A day removed from its first conference loss of the season, UNC (17-2, 6-1 ACC) notched its first shutout in over two months with a new-look singles lineup against the Hokies, who fell to 11-5 overall and 2-5 in the ACC.
