In climbing back from a 6-2 deficit to defeat Notre Dame 13-12 on Saturday at Kenan Stadium, the fifth-ranked Tar Heels received a stellar effort from Jamie Ortega, who played one of the best games by a freshman in program history. Ortega scored a career-high six goals, which marked the most goals by a UNC true freshman in at least the last 20 seasons. (GoHeels.com)
