NCAA referee Duke Edsall has been around the block in college basketball. He has stood toe-to-toe on the hardwood with some of the all-time greats including coaches Bob Knight, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski, Bob Huggins and Jim Boeheim. Likewise, players named Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neil and the one he still says was the best he’d ever seen, Len Bias.
