UNC Reliever Cooper Criswell Receives Golden Spikes Performance of the Week Honor

Fresh off an incredible performance that saw him strike out 13 of the 20 hitters he faced during UNC’s win over Miami last Saturday, junior reliever Cooper Criswell was named as the Golden Spikes Award Gold Standard Performance of the Week winner. The 6-foot-6 righty set a new mark for most strikeouts out of the bullpen during the Mike Fox era at UNC.
