Charlotte Hornets fire head coach Steve Clifford after 5 seasons


The Charlotte Hornets have fired head coach Steve Clifford after five seasons. New President of Basketball Operations and General Manager , introduced earlier this week, announced the news Friday. Clifford went 196-214 in his time with the franchise, and the Hornets made the playoffs twice in his five seasons. They lost in the first round both years. (WRAL Sports Fan)
