Tigers take Miller with sixth pick

The Detroit Tigers selected left-handed pitcher Andrew Miller with the sixth overall pick in baseball's amateur draft Tuesday. Miller, who is 12-2 with a 2.26 ERA in 15 starts for UNC this season, was considered by the Kansas City Royals for the top pick. "It may not have been as high as I would've expected or liked," Miller said. "It's just a huge relief.
