After splitting its first 14 games, UNC has won 17 of 23 and 10 of its last 13, including victories in three consecutive series against ACC competition. The Tar Heels rank No. 5 in the RPI and are 22-7 vs. Top-50 opponents. “We want to face good teams,” coach Mike Fox told reporters. “Our strength of schedule is way up there. I think that’s the way you get better.”
