North Carolina lands top 10 basketball recruiting class

North Carolina is out from under the cloud, the narrative went. Now Tar Heels coach Roy Williams will find it significantly easier on the recruiting trail. But the timeline didn’t quite match up: Just 12 days earlier, UNC landed the final piece in what would become the nation’s No. 9 class in the 247Sports Composite, and Williams’ first top 10 recruit since the investigation started.
