Elite 11 QB Sam Howell commits to Florida State

Indian Trail Sun Valley quarterback Sam Howell will play his college football at Florida State. Howell is the No. 5 pro-style quarterback recruit nationally and is ranked No. 134 overall among all players in the class of 2019. He had nearly three dozen college offers, including Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest and several national powers. (Charlotte Observer)
