A 2-time first-team All-ACC performer, was a consensus All-America a as senior in 1986 before being selected No. 1 in the NBA draft. He played just eight seasons in the NBA. But he still made five NBA All-Star teams and finished his career with per-game averages of 19 points and 9.5 rebounds. His No. 43 is retired by the Cleveland Cavaliers. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
