Healthy after knee surgery, LB Andre Smith expected to be drafted

UNC linebacker Andre Smith played well last year...until he couldn’t play. Smith, a middle linebacker for the Tar Heels, had 21 tackles in two games but sustained a season-ending meniscus tear in his left knee that required surgery. But Smith was undeterred and declared for the draft anyway. Analyst Dane Brugler ranks Smith as the No. 12 linebacker available.
