Second-seeded North Carolina got seven points each from Ela Hazar and Katie Hoeg and six goals from Jamie Ortega in a 21-12 win over seventh-seeded Syracuse on Thursday in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals (Highlights). The Tar Heels advance to Friday's semifinal to face the winner of Thursday's contest between third-seeded Virginia Tech and sixth-seeded Duke. (GoHeels.com)
