After pitching eight innings to lead North Carolina past Winthrop, Andrew Miller said the week and a half break he had in between starts might have affected his sharpness. It makes sense, but what then of fellow junior Daniel Bard? UNC coach Mike Fox said Monday that Bard pitched in a team scrimmage last Sunday, and the coach doesn't anticipate any problems today as Bard tries to get the Tar Heels to a super regional for the first time since 2003.
