P.J. Carlesimo knows the demands that come with being an NBA head coach. And he has no doubt that Jerry Stackhouse is ready to take on that role. "He’s very, very close to an ideal candidate," said Carlesimo, who coached Stackhouse with the Brooklyn Nets in 2012-13, the final year of Stackhouse's playing career. "Not just for a Knick job, but for any job."
