Marie McCool Goes No. 2 Overall In WPLL Draft

North Carolina senior women's lacrosse midfielder Marie McCool was the No. 2 overall pick in the inaugural Women's Professional Lacrosse League Collegiate Draft on Monday. The WPLL, which will play its first season this summer, is made up of five teams: the Baltimore Brave, New England Command, New York Fight, Philadelphia Fire, and Upstate Pride. (GoHeels.com)
