Tar Heels Down Georgia Tech in ACC Softball Tournament Quarterfinal

North Carolina rallied past Georgia Tech, 6-1 on Thursday to clinch the win in the ACC Tournament quarterfinal at Mewborn Field. UNC advances to take on Pittsburgh Friday at 3:30 p.m. Brittany Pickett led the way for Carolina in the circle and at the plate. The sophomore struck out seven while hitting a solo home run and the game-winning RBI-single in the third.
