Elijah Hood thrilled to be home with Panthers

Former North Carolina running back Elijah Hood could barely even get his phone to work earlier this week. That’s because the Panthers, his hometown team after being raised in the area and attending Charlotte Catholic High School, had claimed him off waivers and added him to their roster, causing many of Hood’s friends, family and peers to reach out.
