Five-star 2019 post Vernon Carey cuts list to five

The nation’s No. 2 college basketball recruit is down to five finalists. Vernon Carey, a 6-9 rising senior power forward at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School, announced that he has trimmed his list to Duke, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan State and North Carolina. That quintet is no surprise, as it’s the group that he’s been in touch with the most in recent months. (Inside Carolina)
