Durham hopes for big crowds, big spending as ACC baseball tourney returns
Posted May 23, 2018
It's been more than a year since the General Assembly repealed House Bill 2, and on Tuesday an event that left North Carolina due to the law returned to Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Twelve teams, including UNC, Duke and NC State, will take part in the ACC Baseball Tournament over the next five days, a baseball bonanza that will bring up to 15,000 visitors to the Bull City.
