William Blumberg Cruises Into Second Round of NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Tournament

The first round of the NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Tournament played itself out on Wednesday in Winston-Salem, with UNC’s William Blumberg–the No. 2 overall seed–advancing past San Diego’s August Holmgren with a 6-4, 6-4 victory. Blumberg is looking to build on his spectacular performance last year, when he advanced to the finals as a freshman.
