Improvements are coming to Syracuse's aging Carrier Dome. The university’s Board of Trustees authorized an investment of $118 million on Monday for upgrades to the 38-year-old facility that will include a new, fixed roof, a vertically hung scoreboard that can be moved for football and basketball games, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and improved Wi-Fi.
