After stunning 2017 regional, Tar Heels try to do it right

UNC baseball coach Mike Fox said the unexpected departure from the 2017 tournament has been one of the seeds for this year’s success. “Our incentive is to take the next step, which is to win a regional,” Fox said. “Last year’s regional has gotten these kids to this point. I think it has been in the back of their minds. I think it has been their driving motivation." (Burlington Times News)
