Former UNC Basketball Player Dale Gipple Passes Away

Dale Gipple, 69, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly, following a brief illness, on Friday, June 1, 2018. A native of Burlington, NC, Dale attended the University of North Carolina where he proudly played basketball for Dean Smith from 1969 until 1971. Dale's passions in his life included his family, friends, traveling, Carolina basketball, golf, golf, and more golf.
