J.B. Tanner promoted to Elon assistant men's basketball coach

J.B. Tanner, who has spent four years as Elon’s director of basketball operations, has been elevated to assistant coaching duties alongside Jack Wooten and Chris Long. Tanner, a former walk-on player at UNC, is becoming a full-fledged assistant coach for the first time. He was UNC Greensboro’s director of basketball operations for three seasons until 2014.
