With Saturday's win, North Carolina is now 18-21 all-time in the CWS and 16-13 since 2006. Coach Mike Fox has either played or coached in all 18 wins. UNC improved to 37-0 on the year when scoring six runs or more in a game. Freshman LHP Caden O'Brien made his 29th appearance of the season, setting a new school record for appearances by a true freshman.
