Early Grand Slam Propels Mississippi State Past UNC in College World Series

UNC's Austin Bergner did about everything you could want from a starting pitcher Tuesday in UNC's College World Series game against Mississippi State–with the exception of one pitch in the second inning. With the bases loaded, Jordan Westburg took Bergner deep for a grand slam that gave the Bulldogs a lead they wouldn't relinquish on the way to a 12-2 win.
