Shortly after the NBPA Top 100 Camp, UNC landed a commitment from Day'Ron Sharpe, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward from Winterville (N.C.) South Central. Sharpe is the 70th-rated 2020 recruit in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, although 247Sports ranks Sharpe at 47th. Sharpe has good size, length, toughness, athleticism and a strong motor.
