Damian Lillard, Trail Blazers fans heartbroken after Portland let Ed Davis go in free agency

Ed Davis, a fan favorite in Portland and a beloved teammate, was a casualty of the Blazers salary cap predicament. In fact, in our You Be the GM feature, 93% of Trail Blazers fans said they wanted to see Davis return. Before the trade deadline back in February, Lillard made his feelings clear on Ed Davis, saying as long as he is in Portland, he wants Davis by his side. (Oregon Live)
