Dante Calabria returning to Italy as assistant basketball coach

Dante Calabria is heading back to Italy. Calabria, a 1992 Blackhawk graduate who played collegiate basketball at North Carolina, has been hired as an assistant coach for Fiat Torino, a franchise in the Italian Basketball League. Calabria, 44, gave up his position as head coach at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in order to join Larry Brown’s staff with Fiat Torino.
