Vince Carter, back home for his camp, awaits opportunity for 21st, likely final NBA season

Vince Carter says he is waiting for the right opportunity to come along. Sitting a few feet from a trophy case displaying his Sports Illustrated covers and images of past glory at his alma mater, Mainland High School, the graybearded Carter admits the market has been fairly nonexistent. The 41-year-old wants to play a 21st — and, in all likelihood, final — NBA season.
