UNC dean surprised by Larry Fedora comments, says coach cares about player safety

Kevin Guskiewicz, UNC’s dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, said the quotes Larry Fedora offered Wednesday do not match up with the man he knows. “I’ve not worked with a coach who cares more about the health and safety of their players than Larry Fedora,” said Guskiewicz, who has won a who has won a “genius grant” for his research on head injuries in sports.
