At ACC Kickoff, Virginia places top priority on beating Virginia Tech

A popular college football trope this time of year — especially for an event like the ACC Kickoff — is that the only focus is the team’s first game. UNC’s Larry Fedora was the first coach at the podium in Charlotte and he stated that the only game on the Tar Heels’ schedule was the first game. But for the Virginia football program, that talking point is out the window.
