UNC hopes to find starter at QB before season opener

Larry Fedora didn’t have to wait long before he was pressed about which quarterback would start UNC's Sept. 1 season opener at California between junior Nathan Elliott and redshirt sophomore Chazz Surratt. The coach, entering his seventh season with Carolina, didn’t offer a timeline when a decision would be made and said he’ll take his time to evaluate their play.
