Charlotte Chamber to honor basketball legend Michael Jordan

The Charlotte Chamber has named basketball star Michael Jordan its 2008 Citizen of the Carolinas. Jordan, who is the manager of basketball operations for the Charlotte Bobcats, will receive the award at the chamber's annual meeting in November. The award is the chamber's top recognition for a resident who has brought positive recognition to the Carolinas. (Charlotte Business Journal)
