UNC Football Announces 13 Player Suspensions for Shoe Violations

Thirteen UNC football players will receive suspensions after selling team-issued UNC Retro Air Jordan 3s in January. OL Brian Anderson, DE Malik Carney, WR Beau Corrales, DE Tomon Fox, DE Tyrone Hopper, OL Quiron Johnson, LB Malik Robinson, QB Chazz Surratt and OL Jordan Tucker will each sit out four games. DBs Greg Ross and Tre Shaw will miss two games, and QB Jack Davidson and OL Jonah Melton will miss one.
