Nathan Elliott’s role secure at start

North Carolina is avoiding a quarterback question this August, with Nathan Elliott, who was third in the 2017 sweepstakes, ascending to the top of the depth chart. With the revelation of this week’s suspensions, it left Elliott as the logical choice to be the starter with Chazz Surratt banned four games as one of 13 players hit with penalties for selling of school-issued footwear.
