Elijah Hood Catches 21-Yard Touchdown Pass in Carolina Panthers’ Preseason Opener

Former UNC running back Elijah Hood finds himself in a battle to make the roster for the Carolina Panthers, which began preseason play Thursday with a 28-23 home victory over the Buffalo Bills. Hood saw playing time in the fourth quarter and made the most of it, hauling in a 21-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Taylor Heinicke that ultimately served as the game-winner.
