Brian Roberts was the best player on a series of losing Orioles teams. Roberts played 13 seasons with the Orioles, and only in the last two, when he struggled with injuries, did the team win. Roberts, who last played with the team in 2013 and is the only Oriole to play with both Cal Ripken Jr. and Manny Machado, was the most prominent player on those less-talented teams.
