Growing up as a Tar Heel fan in Raleigh, Chris Young always envisioned himself coming to Carolina as an 18-year-old freshman. But a chance to begin a career as a radio disc jockey right out of a high school and an ensuing 16-year career in the Air Force changed his timeline. Now, as a 39-year-old, Young has made his way to Chapel Hill.
