Jay-Jay McCargo Taking Charge at Center

Despite sitting out spring ball due to injury, UNC redshirt sophomore Jay-Jay McCargo has secured the starting center spot as the Tar Heels prepare for their season opener at California on Sept. 1. “I have high expectations for Jay-Jay,” said UNC offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic. “When he played last year, he played very well. I feel comfortable with him being the guy.” (Inside Carolina)
