Jonathan Smith and Dominique Ross have received first-team linebacker reps alongside Cole Holcomb. But both Holcomb and Larry Fedora noted the improvements by redshirt freshman Jeremiah Gemmel and freshman Matthew Flint. Holcomb said it was a three-way tie between Gemmel, Smith and Ross for who had the best camp. (GoHeels.com)
